My amazing baby is 7 months old! (Baby video included.)

Today's post is a self-indulgent one. My baby boy is 7 months old today, and I just want to celebrate his amazing little self. I'm so proud of everything he does, and I can't believe how far he has come. Since becoming a mama, I now experience time in a completely different way. Jac's birth seems like yesterday, yet it also feels like he has been with us forever. He is now officially closer to being a one year old than he is to his birth.

Every week, I feel a little sad and nostalgic because I can't believe how fast this special babyhood time is going. People warn you about this when you first have a baby, but it's one of those things that you can never fully understand until you experience it. Your little one goes from seeming like a helpless infant to a big boy in the blink of an eye. I feel so lucky to be a stay at home mama this year and to get to experience as many moments of Jac's babyhood as possible. I am also realizing that a friend was very right when she told me recently that every age is the best age. On each of Jac's monthly birthdays so far, I can specifically remember thinking: This is really the best age possible! Then, it's the next month's birthday, and I can't believe how amazing my little guy has become.
