5 Pregnancy Gifts for Mamas-to-Be

It can be a very exciting time when you find out that a loved one is pregnant, and we often look for special ways to treat mamas-to-be. Based on my own experience as a mama-to-be for the second time around, here are a few gifts that I think any pregnant woman would love:
1. A pampering basketI am a huge fan of the Earth Mama Baby Angel products, and they offer the sweetest green and natural gift set for only $19.95: A Little Something for Mama-to-Be. All products are natural and organic with zero toxins, and this treat would be especially nice for a mama in her first trimester as it contains products that combat queasiness including Organic Morning Wellness Tea and Happy Mama Spray.
the unbearable lightness
2. BooksHow about a book to show mama that you respect her desires to be aware, informed, and comfortable with the childbirth process? Birthing from Within is a favorite of mine (You can read my book review and enter to win a copy of the author's other childbirth aids here). The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth is another favorite. If you're not sure what the mama would like, let her make her own choice with an Amazon gift card.
3. Pregnancy MassageI don't think any pregnant woman on the planet would be less than ecstatic to receive a gift certificate for a pregnancy massage. Pregnancy brings along many new changes to your body, and the relaxation and health benefits of a massage would be invaluable.
4. Prenatal YogaPrenatal yoga is such a wonderful way for pregnant women to develop an awareness of their body and breath - essential elements for a positive birth experience. It also helps mamas to center themselves and remain calm in a time that could be somewhat anxiety-filled. I am loving my prenatal yoga class. There is something about being in a room full of pregnant women who are all working towards a similar goal that is also really empowering.
If there are no prenatal yoga classes available, or if they are too expensive, a prenatal yoga DVD is a fantastic alternative. Element: Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga DVD comes highly recommended and it's only $7.49!
5. Green HousecleaningA pregnant mama appreciates nothing more than a break, and I think anyone would love a break from housecleaning. How about a gift certificate for a green housecleaning service? If that's too costly, you and a friend could tag team mama's house with some green cleaners and really giver her something to smile about.
What are you recommendations for special treats for pregnant mamas?
