A Letter to My 10 Month Old Baby Girl {Wordless Wednesday Linky}

To my sweet girl,
It blows my mind that you are about to enter the double digits of babyhood! Time has flown way too fast since your beautiful birth. As I've said before, you were like a two month old instead of a newborn when you were born, and you have continued to seem wiser and more capable than I ever expect each and every month.

Each day, I try not to take for granted your resilience, cheer, sparkle, and beauty. I am fascinated by your ability to see nearly everything as wonderful and humorous. Your smile can light up any moment, and your laugh is now the regular soundtrack of our household.

Your admiration for Big Brother seems to grow every day. It is so much fun for me to see the two of you play together. You're so kind to your brother; you're just beside yourself with happiness when you get to do anything with him - or simply watch him play.

You seem to have such an obvious appetite and eagerness to experience everything you can. You're a mobile whirlwind through the house these days, and it doesn't look like it will be long before you are walking all on your own through the house. I think you just can't wait to keep up with Big Brother.

I am also constantly struck by how much you seem to have the spirit of your namesake - your beautiful cousin looking down on you - with you at all times. It's a glow of pure happiness and goodness that seems to be shimmering from your every smile and touch. Being around you is like having a little bit of J with us every day.
Thank you for filling my days with so many smiles. I love waking up to your laughter and beaming face each day, feeling your tight hugs, and watching your determination every day.
You're going to be one year old before we know it. I will be savoring these last moments of babyhood with you, although no matter how fast you're intent upon growing up, you're always going to be Mama's special, little baby.
MW,Mama
