Wordless Wednesday: A Tribute to Our Great City, Boston {Linky}
We are still reeling from the tragedy at the Boston Marathon along with the rest of the country. Boston is our city, and it has been an integral part of our lives. As graduates of Boston College, my husband and I have been experiencing the marathon and all its glory since we were teenagers. I've even crossed the finish line myself a couple of times after doing 26.2 for the Jimmy Fund. Boston has been my home, my workplace, my grad school world, the scene of thousands of memories with friends and family, the birthplace of my babies... It has captured my heart ever since the first time I visited on a seventh grade field trip, and it has not let me down. I am only one of an uncountable number of people whose lives have been shaped by this great city. We grieve for those who were affected by this senseless tragedy, honor everyone who stepped up to be a hero, and pray for peace and strength.
