5 Things I Never Want to Forget About Baby at 18 Months Old

Dear Baby,18 months seems to be a magical age for you. We have so much fun, and your personality and affection seem to magnify every day.
Here are 5 of my favorite moments from your life at 18 months of age so far:
1. Our purring sessions:18 months oldWhenever I change your diaper, you grab my head, hug it, and purr like a kitty cat. We keeps our faces together, both purring, and then you plant a giant kiss right on my lips!
2. Show your tongue!18 months oldYou really enjoy finding similarities between yourself and Dada and me. You'll direct each of us to show our tongues and then show yours. You also do this with funny sounds, and it is hilarious.
3. You love learning:toddler plays pianoYou are constantly asking us to tell you what things are and you seem to remember everything we ever tell you. We're amazed by your memory! You also love for us to ask you questions. You enjoy making the sounds for all of the letters of the alphabet, making animal noises, and labeling colors.
4. You give so many kisses:toddler robeFor a long time now, you've been a huge hugger, but now you are also a big kissing guy too! You put kisses on us and Kaia the cat all the time. My favorite kisses are the really spontaneous ones that happen as you are falling asleep. You'll have your head on my shoulder and seem to be completely passed out but surprise me by popping up a couple of times to smile right in my face and to kiss my lips.
5. You are so sweet and kind:toddler carsPeople always compliment your sweet and kind nature, and I can't help but agree with them. You treat all people, animals, and things in the natural world with a gentle and loving demeanor.
I am so proud to be your mama, and even when I have a few moments to myself, I can't help but just think of you and how I just can't imagine a more wonderful soul on this earth.
Thank you for another month of joy and unforgettable memories!
Love,Your Mama
