Sesame Street Live's “Elmo’s Super Heroes” is Coming to a Theater Near You

Elmo's Super HeroesOur two year old son is a big fan of theater shows and live music concerts. We've been taking him to these kinds of shows since he was just a baby, and I'm glad that his love for the arts is only growing with age. (You can see pictures of us at the Sesame Street Live show last Spring here.) I am looking forward to taking our 6 month old baby girl to the theater, and I'm very excited that there is such a fun family show playing in our area next month for her theater introduction.
We'll be taking the kids to "Elmo's Super Heroes" next month. Here's a description of the show:
Calling all super heroes! Super Grover has lost his super-ness! Never fear, the fabulous five Super Heroes are here -- featuring Elmo as Captain Fuzzy! Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Zoe and all their furry friends are on a quest to put the “super” back in Super Grover. Singing and dancing their way through fun lessons on healthy habits, they discover how exercise, rest, nutritious food and good hygiene can save Super Grover -- and turn your children into Super Heroes, too! You’ll be feeling good when "Elmo’s Super Heroes!" comes to town!
If you're not familiar with the Sesame Street Live shows:Sesame Street Live is a larger-than-life, musical touring stage production featuring Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, and more. Each performance is 90 minutes of singing, dancing and audience participation, including a 15-minute intermission - the perfect length for very young children! Our son and his friends loved the last Sesame Street Live production in our area. They danced their way through the show, and they especially loved visiting the Sesame Street Live Play Zone before the show and during intermission.
