How to Make a Vision Board (Plus My 2015 Vision!)

Happy New Year! Are you someone who makes a resolution every year? I've made small resolutions, but I tend to think in big themes when I generally think about my life. That's why I was so excited to try making a vision board for 2015 after my friend and Beachbody Coach Success Partner, Jenn, suggested it to me. I loved the idea of having something I could look at all year long to inspire me to work toward large goals that work hand in hand with each other.

We used the free app on our phones called Photo Grid and then selected the Pin Board setting. I searched for images in Google Images in addition to looking through my personal photos.
Here is what I intended to convey with my 2015 Vision Board:
- My family picture is in the center because my family is the most important thing to me. Everything else I do is related to my family's health and happiness.
- To the left of my family picture is a scale in a peaceful beach setting to emphasize that I need to work on balance. Balance incorporates taking good care of my family, myself, and my work in a way that allows me to do all things without letting go of one of these key pieces.
- Across the balance image, it says "Healthy Mom, Healthy Family" to remind me that taking the time to focus on my own health is good for all of us because there is a trickle down effect on my husband and kids. Health is a priority in our home.
- In the top row, starting from the left, it says, "Have fun and do good" because helping others is a priority in my life, and I want to make sure I enjoy every moment of doing so. It's all about the journey, not just the destination!
- In the top center, it says "Exercise... do it for your family" because I know that taking care of myself will help me live longer and be a more active participant in my family's lives. I also love being a positive role model for my children in this way.
- In the top right, the emphasis is on Passion because I want it to be an essential aspect of my marriage, my involvement with my children, and in how I approach my business.
- In the bottom left, it emphasizes taking chances every day. More than anything, I have learned this year that the magic happens when you step outside of your comfort zone. The more I do this, the more wonderful things I experience in every area of my life.
- In the bottom center, my business goal is highlighted. I absolutely love supporting and motivating others to a healthier lifestyle, and this goal reflects all of the people I will help as a Beachbody Coach this year.
- In the bottom right, I have a picture of a healthy meal. We eat very healthy foods in our home, but this year, I would like to work on adding more creative, healthy meals into the routines of our family life. I do not enjoy cooking, so this is a challenge for me.- In the middle right, it reminds me to live with a No Excuses mentality. My success hinges on my own efforts, and there is never a reason to place blame on others. There is always a way to reflect on my choices and learn from them so I can do better in the future.
I'm wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2015! What would you like to include in your vision board?
